We were travelling home from Ruteng to Labuan Bajo with Ica Marta Tulis and Gemma Sollis and stopped for a coffee in Bung – at Yustinus’ house. We had just finished the third Flores Homestay Network community training in Leda. Yustinus had joined that training and aiming to open a homestay. Yustinus is passionate about organic farming. The family has a book telling the story about their clan and ancestors – Ntala Mese. It’s only available in Bahasa Indonesia. We suggested Yustinus to translate it, it will be very interesting cultural information for their guests.
You pass Yustinus’ house on the right side of the main road from Ruteng to Lembor, approximately 15 Km outside Ruteng.
