Poco Leok is a small village high up in the mountains South of Ruteng near Poco Leok Vulcano. It’s a wonderful area for hiking. I’m sure you can find a local guide in the village and also a place to sleep.
If you like to learn about Flores coffee it’s one of the places to visit. Local community, with support of a Ruteng NGO, has established a Women’s Coffee Cooperation. The ladies harvest, roast and grind the beans in the traditional way and their product is sold via the NGO
