Visited Seminari Pius XII in Kisol with Marius (Arie) Saridin and Silvester Deni Harsidi.
Kisol was founded by a Dutch priest Leo Perik in 1955. It is ranked as the top school in Flores. Most graduates of Kisol have had the opportunity to continue to university and many are now working in local NGO’s, governmental organisations, in journalism, as priests all over the world and as lecturers in universities.
Both Arie and Silvester were educated at Kisol. We found their class photo’s on the wall. It’s an all-boys school. Worth a visit if you are interested in Flores education.
