I can’t recall how many times I visited Kampung Komodo over the past years. It’s always a pleasure to be there. We organised training for community members to support the development of Homestay Komodo Village and are staying in touch ever since. The homestay has a steady flow of visitors, which helps generate alternative income for the community. The Komodo obviously attracts many visitors. Most people enter via the jetty at the official Tourism Center and do not visit the village around the corner. Really worth a visit though! Ramang (Bram Komodo) is the coordinator of the hosting families in the village. Please note that the village has limited electricity and internet signal. At 18.00 the power is switched on until about 22.00.
